Concept
Concept Electric Balalaika
The modern balalaika has an extended family; piccolo, prima, secunda, alto, bass, contrabass. Listed are different sizes of an acoustic version of balalaika, but is there a place in the family for an Electric balalaika? In the late 80s, the beginning of the 90s,
Kramer guitars produced
a balalaika shaped Electric guitar for then popular (in the US) Russian heavy metal band Gorky Park, but so far we haven’t seen any real Electric balalaika produced. These renditions of the Concept Electric balalaika were created by an artist.
Should it be made? Let us know what you think, we appreciate you feedback.
